Voter registration

You must be registered to vote. If you have changed your name or address since registering, you must complete a new registration card. By registering prior to election day, your name and address will appear on the polling place roster.
An individual may register any time before the 20th day preceding any election, on election day at the polling locations or when submitting an absentee ballot.
Registration cards are available at city and township offices, libraries and the county auditor’s office. If you changed your address, you may register to vote when you change your driver’s license.
To register on election day you must have a State of Minnesota recognized identification showing your present address.
